In this episode, Caroline and Erica talk about the three professionals you need to hire this year to help you secure your business and thrive in 2024. The truth is this: many of us who own small businesses have to overcome mental hurdles.

Making unemotional, wise, sound decisions is not always easy. These last few years have brought about circumstances where challenges were next level. It was near impossible to move through business decisions without emotion.

This is why you should seriously consider hiring professionals to help you with the things you are either not good at, or don’t have time for. They are removed from emotion and can help you make data driven decisions.

The first professional is a bookkeeper. Bookkeeping monitors the pulse of your business and shows you where you may have critical issues.

The second professional is a CPA. It’s important to note that CPA’s and bookkeepers are not the same! CPA’s handle taxes.

The third professional is a consultant. Business consultants provide you with expert suggestions on decision making and goal setting. They can consult you on how to make a budget, getting out of debt, and cashflow. And they do this all while holding you accountable.

Make sure to ask questions! Just because they’re professionals, doesn’t mean that they’re an expert in your industry, or that they’ll be a good fit for you and your business.
